We are a professional, reliable removal and transport service serving funeral homes, coroners, and organ/cadaver donor programs in the CSRA and throughout the Southeast.  We handle more removals and transports each month than any other removal service in East Georgia and West South Carolina.

• Professionalism:

  • Every removal, regardless of location, should be and is carried out as if the family were present. Our goal is not to be looked on as a "trade service", but as an extension of your own staff. All removals are made with the utmost Gravitas and respect. All GTS personnel are dressed in suits with coat being worn when coming in contact with family members and facility staff.  This is the case on every removal or transport regardless of the situation.  We will ALWAYS be in suits. We also take time to show compassion and Gravitas to each family and give special attention to our actions and comments on every call. We feel the first in-person contact with your Funeral Home becomes the step that sets the overall tone of the relationship you will have with the bereaved family.

• Reliability:

  • We currently have a fleet of fully equipped vehicles in operation and will expand immediately if the need arises.  Our vehicles are late model and equipped with brand new Junkin or Ferno one man cots with high quality, quilted unmarked cot covers, various body bags, protective wear, smooth movers, and other equipment one would need for virtually any situation. We do not hesitate on calls or screen out calls-we take them all.  There is always someone standing by waiting for your call.  When overwhelmed with an excessive number of calls at once, priority is given to removals from public places, home removals, and calls where the family is present.  We are on call 24 hours/day, 7 days/week, 365 days/year for your needs.  Other services advertise as though they operate from the Augusta area yet they are 45+ minutes away.  Our office IS in Augusta, GA.  Our president is a resident of Augusta/Richmond County.  No other service can respond to Augusta Hospitals, Nursing Homes, and residences as quickly as we can.  Our office is located on a major transportation corridor near the corner of Bobby Jones Expressway and Washington Rd.  We also have vehicles strategically placed throughout the area. This allows us to respond optimally to any hospital in Augusta or Ft. Gordon within 10-15 minutes.

• Dedication to you:

  • No one offers the detailed services we offer.  For example, we log and get signatures for ALL personal effects carried with the remains.  Each decedent is tagged with an identification bracelet immediately.  For coroner/crime lab cases we utilize a chain of custody log and lock the body bag with a numbered lock for evidence integrity.  We also offer digital photos of the locked bag if required and numbered, tamper resistant security bags for personal belongings or other evidence.

• Convenient Billing:

  • We offer convenient, detailed itemized monthly (net 30) billing to everyone.  We currently accept check, money orders, cash, and all major credit cards.
